Y'all ! It has been a BUSY summer! In 3 months I have...
Our church youth participate in a program every year called Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes. The purpose is to train the youth of our congregations in the ways of church participation. There are competitions for Speech, Song Leading, Debate and Puppets just to name a few. There is also a Bible Bowl competition. This year the books to study are 1st and 2nd Corinthians! Our congregation is going to have an Adult vs Youth fun competition to help them study and we can all benefit from more time in the Word. So I put together a simple study journal to help everyone out. The study focuses on one chapter at a time. Some basic questions to answer about every chapter and also space to write down any questions you think could be asked about the passage. My hope is that it will prompt the user to really get into what they are reading and not just skim over. This style of study has really helped me out and I have poor study skills. If you are interested in the journal or have a youth group in the L to L program yourself, the journal can be found using this link.
The journal is standard 8.5" x 11", unlined. Use the margins to doodle, draw, make notes and references. I highly encourage everyone to explore different methods of study, and find what works for you. I hope you will find this one helpful! If you do try my new journal, would you consider leaving a comment or review? I would like to hear how it works out for everyone.
